The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has made it clear to Ghanaians that, they’re ready to help Ghana stabilize its paralyze economy. 

On 26th of August, 2022 Kristalina Georgieva who’s the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has made a recent tweet on twitter saying, the agency is ready to help Ghana stabilize the economy.
Constructive meeting with Ghana’s Finance Minister Ofori-Atta and his team on Ghana’s economic challenges and the way forward. We’re ready to do our part to help the authorities stabilize the economy, lay the ground for stronger growth and help the most vulnerable.


 

Also some other news which went viral, said by the Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong expressed his decision on the government’s decision to seek economic help from the IMF. He said; 

I’m very sad today when I saw the publication that we’re going to the IMF. Mahama’s prayer has come to pass.
