You can choose to vote for NDC, I don’t care - Akufo-Addo tells aggrieved Ghanaians

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, responded to Ghanaians on Otec FM in Kumasi and made it clear that he is not frightened about how some Ghanaians are threatening to vote against him or the New Patroitic Party (NPP) due to unfulfilled promises under his tenure. 


Some Ghanaians have expressed their displeasure with you and your administration by saying they would support the NDC if the roads are not fixed or improved; 
I am not frightened by your threats and I understand that they want me to help out. Voting for the NDC is your business, but I won’t stop if you insist on doing so. The decision is entirely yours and you will not be compelled.


 The response came after the residents of Kwabre and Manso in the Ashanti Region augur to vote against NPP in the next election if their roads do not get fixed.

However the 2020 flagbearer for the NDC, John Dramani Mahama has said that the next NDC government will review the 1992 constitution to have a proper constitutional environment to help grow the Ghana’s economy. Click here to read more
