American multinational technology company, Apple Inc, has announced an increase in price and tax for apps and in-app purchases for Apple product users in Ghana. This change and increase of tax and prices of apps and in-app will affect both Ghana and Turkey.
On the 19Th of August, Apple released a statement on its News page that prices of apps and in-app purchases from AppStore is going to increase in Ghana and Turkey. This update on app purchases comes with the exclusion of auto-renewal subscriptions. On Apple news and updates;
Starting next week, prices of apps and in app purchases (excluding auto-renewal subscription) on the AppStore will increase in Ghana and Turkey. In Ghana, these increases also consider a new value-added tax (VAT) of 12.5% and additional levies of 6%.

Again they made it clear that once these changes go into effect, the pricing and availability section will be updated. You can change the price of your apps and in-apps anytime in AppStore Connect.
